"Thanks for all the help and guidance you provided during one of the most difficult periods of my life.
I will never forget "The Four Agreements," "The E-Myth," Hobbs/Herder, Howard Brinton or the many thoughts and insights you shared that both demystified the real estate business and helped me understand who I was.
You were much, much more than a paid consultant — you were truly a coach."

About Us
C. Roy Argall and Real Estate
Roy Argall began his career in real estate in property management as a manager for several residential buildings. While working for several major property management firms in Pittsburgh PA, he acquired his PA Real Estate Salesman's license and started to establish himself as a knowledgeable property manager.
In 1973, he began working for Oliver Realty, a commercial leasing and management firm which is now part of the Grubb and Ellis group as its Director of Residential Management. He quickly grew the business from managing one property, a cooperative, and the most prestigious residential building in Pittsburgh, to the second largest residential fee management group in Western Pennsylvania.
In 1979, Oliver Realty changed its business focus back to strictly commercial leasing, management and brokerage, The timing was right and Roy was offered the opportunity to purchase his department and start his own business which he did and called it, Argall Management, Inc.
For almost 25 years, he continued to own and operate this very successful business, which had about 100 employees, and which specialized in residential condominium, cooperative and apartment management all over the Pittsburgh area.
While in Pittsburgh, he had the opportunity to represent very prestigious sellers of units in the buildings which AMI managed. He also represented buyers.
He and his wife raised their two children in suburban Pittsburgh and his wife worked in the womens' health field.
When the children were out on their own, his wife, who is in the infertility field, was offered an opportunity to join the world-famous infertility center at Cornell Medical Center in New York City. He sold his business, they sold their home and belongings to move to the Big Apple and into a 650 square foot apartment.
From 1996 on for the next 3 years, Roy enjoyed an active career as an Associate Broker at several prestigious firms such as Coldwell Banker and the Halstead Property Company. He took and was awarded the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation.
Upon moving to New York City, it was necessary to take New York state real estate courses to become a licensed New York Real Estate Broker and he still holds an active license. While doing so, he was invited to teach for the New York Real Estate Institute. He obtained his real estate teaching credentials and became a Certified Real Estate Instructor and taught various real estate subjects and specialized in agency and ethics.
Early in 1999, always having wanted to live in California, the Argalls moved to the greater San Jose area. Upon moving to California, he took the California state real estate courses and became a licensed California Real Estate Broker and still holds an active license.
Roy was offered a teaching position with Anthony Schools, one of the largest real estate schools in the US and was owned by Dearborn Publishing Company, which at that time was the largest real estate publishing company in the US. Both companies were owned by Kaplan Professional Schools(the SAT folks) which is owned by the Washington Post. Roy's industry expertise was recognized and shortly afterwards was invited to serve as their Director of Education, a post he held until mid 2003.
As Director of Education, Roy hired and trained hundreds of instructors for the program, wrote and published over 30 real estate textbooks an a variety of subjects and personally taught more than 1,000 classes.
C. Roy Argall and Coaching
During the early 2000s Roy became interested in the field of coaching versus the field of real estate training. Of course, he stayed specialized in the real estate arena. Drawing from over 30 plus years of knowledge in the real estate profession, Roy started down the path of coaching.
Roy says his coaching mission is ...
"To help people quiet the voices in their heads so they can be authentically present, live in the now and prosper.
Always being a believer of "If you are going to do something, do it well." he researched the possibilities and chose the Coaches Training Institute, which is one of the schools accredited by the International Coach Federation.
Never believing that one can know enough, Roy has studied ontological coaching work with the Newfield Network, which is based on ones "way of being." He has also worked with the Strozzi Institute, which is a somatic, meaning through and with the body, coaching program. Studies have been done with the New Visionaries, formerly the Evolutionary Network, which is involved in working with "energy fields."
Holding a strong spiritual foundation, he has also participated in several extended programs with the Dalai Lama.
There have been a number of other programs ranging from spirituality to human sexuality that have been attended in order to result in an eclectic style, rather than a single focus.
Once when asked what program or system he followed, Roy began to realize that his coaching does not follow any one system that forces "round pegs" into "square holes" but rather works with clients to help them develop systems which really work for them instead of them working for and with one specific system.
Roy has been involved in one way or another with several other coaching programs from principal to a referred coach. Hero's Journey Coaching is the result of that journey.
